How are maintenance issues handled?
Good maintenance means happier vacationers. An unrepaired broken refrigerator will mean an unhappy vacationer who may want their money back and may not book with you next year. At Real Property Management Associates, we give fast responses. We value you and your vacation residence.
How are emergencies handled?
When there is an emergency, we will try to troubleshoot over the phone before opting for the expensive solution. Furthermore, we place a three-ring binder in each residence with the property managers 24/7 phone number (not the landlords). The binder also has important police and fire information.
How is the vacationer being managed?
Most people on vacation want to be left alone. For this reason, we try to keep our interventions limited to check in at 4 and check out at 11. If that’s all that happens, then we can assume the guests were happy. Later we’ll follow up with an email and ask them to comment on their stay. In this way, guests will be more likely to rebook for the next season.
The Managers Service
We make sure that there are enough bedding and towels for the service. It matters because certain services, like Airbnb, will require you to have what they consider to be enough. It can vary depending on the time frame of your rental.
We pay attention to what supplies are available to the visitors. We’ll never forget to stock the Toilet paper, Paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and travel-sized toiletries. We also take into consideration other small items they may need, such as charcoal.
We provide a binder with emergency and other local information. As a nice touch, we might add some coupons too!
